We all know that the brain is one of the most complicated features of the human body. Yet, we seem to spend so much time and effort improving the rest of our body but not paying enough attention to our brain.

In this article, we will cover the following about our brain:

  1. How to stop hurting your brain immediately?
  2. How to use food to improve your brain?
  3. How to use sleep to improve your brain?
  4. How to get the brain to relax?
  5. How to use exercise to improve your brain?
  6. How to use learning to upgrade your brain?
  7. How to stop hurting your brain immediately?

Science has proved that there are four types of things that are guaranteed to damage your brain. We should all aim to stop doing them immediately.

a) Physical damage

The most common physical brain damages result from accidents and sports injuries. Of course, there are accidents that we can’t prevent, but what we need to do is to take all the necessary precautions to reduce the chance. Seatbelts on cars, trains, and busses are a must. Please do wear helmets when you’re on a bike or motorcycle. Don’t trust your luck!

Sports are generally good, but if the sport you’re participating in requires you to hit your head repeatedly, perhaps see if you can find interest in a safer sport. If you do it professionally, then that’s a different story, and I assume that’s a risk you’re well aware of and willing to take.

b) Chemical damage

There are two common types of chemical damage: heavy metals and air pollutants.

Heavy metals make their way into your bodies, mostly through the water. Do some research and see if you live near any chemical plants or mining sites. If so, check to see if there are sufficient safety precautions taken by these plants or mines to prevent heavy metals from getting into your drinking water. If not, consider moving or raising it as a critical issue to your local governance agencies. This type of chemical damage is highly irreversible.
